.Who is this programme for?

This programme was originally set up for 14-18 year olds, however we have clients as young as 12!

What is involved?

This whole programme is delivered by Zoom so no matter where you are in the world you and your child can benefit. We start by completing an Emotional Intelligence Assessment. Each month there are either two or four, 40 minute, 1:1 calls during which we will work through specific problems, develop areas highlighted for improvement in the report and deal with anything else that comes up as we go along. In Month 4 we add in a Paradox Report and at the end we complete a second Emotional Intelligence report so we can see what we have achieved.

There is a minimum commitment of 3 months. For best results and depending on the individual  you should budget for a commitment of 6 to 9 months.

Month 1 - Align Assessments, Emotional Intelligence Report
Month 4 - Harrison Assessments, Paradox Report - pairs of behaviours/mindsets under normal circumstances and under stress.

My daughter moved up to Senior School in September last year and as she missed most of the transition sessions due to lock down was very anxious about moving school. This was compounded by some friendship issues.

She is a high achiever and has puts enormous pressure on herself to do well. When Vicky mentioned during our BNI meetings about working with anxious teens around education anxiety I thought it sounded perfect for her. I was a little worried maybe she was too young for Vicky but she didn’t rule it out and was keen to get to know her further.

After an initial conversation with Vicky, she really wanted to learn more and to work with Vicky. They have been having sessions on zoom and Vicky has helped her immensely. They have developed a great rapport and I feel she is really responding to the techniques she is learning. There is a long way to go and a lot still to do but knowing Vicky is there and helping her is such a massive weight off my mind.

Vicky has also recently been in contact with my daughter's school to see how they can work together to further support her.

Not only is Vicky supporting my daughter but she is also there for me. I won’t go into the details of it all but it has been a worrying time and knowing an expert is there to help and support us is much appreciated.

Thank you Vicky, you have no idea how much your work with my daughter means.

We signed our son up to Vicky’s teenage support programme 5 months ago. His dyspraxia means that he has always had a difficult relationship with the education system, and he has compensated by lowering his expectations to manage his emotions.

In his A level year, and with all the educational disruption we had already organised for him to have tutoring for his subjects but felt there was a piece of the support jigsaw missing. He highly reluctantly agreed to a three-month trial on the basis that it would shut his mother up and he did not have much to lose. When asked at the end of the trial period if he wanted to extend, I was surprised by his enthusiasm.

By that point he was finding it useful to have someone else to talk to about what was going on in his head and to discuss wider teenage anxieties with someone who is both understanding but also no-nonsense.

Five months in and there is a noticeable difference – he is seeking out feedback from teachers and actively using that feedback to make his coursework as good as it possibly can be. For the first time ever there is a hint of an A grade on the horizon which is creating a sense of belief. I still fully expect at least one exam related disaster but am confident that he will be better prepared for that then ever before and he will not be going into the exam room expecting to cock it up this time. And that is huge.

Thank you, Vicky, – I am already recommending you to my friends and will continue to do so.
